Blenhein Primary School

School Uniform

All children are encouraged to wear our school uniform, though it is not compulsory

The recommended school colours are navy blue sweatshirts or jumpers, with grey, black or navy blue bottoms.

We also have a smart fleece with the school emblem on.In warm weather the recommended top colour is white.  In the warm weather they can wear grey shorts with the T-shirt or blue checked pinafore.  It would also be acceptable for girls to wear shalwar kameez either in navy blue, grey or black with the school sweatshirt.

The school sweatshirt, fleece and T-shirt are available by placing an order through the school office. Headwear including hoods must be removed when entering the school building unless they are part of the child’s religion. All pupils should come to school dressed appropriately for weather conditions.

P.E.

Your child will usually have two PE sessions a week, one indoor and one outdoor. You can check your child's PE days by visiting their Year Group's webpage.

We ask children to wear their PE kit to school on their PE days. This means we save time in PE lessons, giving children longer to participate in physical activity instead of getting changed.

The PE kit should consist of:

  • A plain white t-shirt
  • Black, grey or blue jogging bottoms or leggings
  • Well-fitting trainers
  • A sweatshirt (in colder weather)

Generally children will have bare feet in the hall but must have trainers for outdoor PE or they will not be able to safely participate. Outdoor P.E. continues in the winter so warm P.E. clothing is a good idea.

PE is a really important part of our curriculum and we very much appreciate your support in making sure that your child is wearing suitable clothes on their PE days.
