At Sheringham Primary School we offer a variety of After School Clubs to meet the different interests of the children. We use the skills and expert knowledge of the staff and outside organisations to run a range of clubs. We believe that clubs are a valuable extension to the school day allowing children the additional opportunities to work with their peers and adults. Children who attend clubs regularly have expressed a sense of achievement and enjoyment that has resulted in increased confidence, motivation and commitment towards school life and their learning.

Children will be provided with a healthy snack of fruit straight after school. All clubs start at 3.35pm and finish at 4.30pm. It was decided by last year’s School Council that as clubs were an extension of the school day, the School Rules should continue to be followed in club sessions.

Spring clubs start week commencing 4th February 2019. The clubs we have on offer this term are Martial Arts club, Sewing club, Arts and Crafts club, Coding club as well as our new parent and child clubs...
Every Child a Musician
This year, Sheringham children are participating in Newham's Every Child a Musician program. This amazing opportunity, funded by the Mayor of Newham, allows children in Years 3 - 6 to learn an instrument by engaging in weekly tuition led by professional musicians. Children in Year 3 are learning how to play the flutophone. In Year 4, children are learning to play the ukulele. There are 30 children across years 5 and 6 that are learning how to play either the guitar, keyboard or clarinet. Not only do they receive expert tuition, but they also get to keep the instrument they are learning to play!
