 FAQs...

What if all my children are all in KS2?

  • Y3, 4, 5 or 6 children can be collected at the same time.
  • Remember, children in Y4, 5 or 6 can walk home alone with permission.

What if I have a child in Reception or Year 1 and they have an older brother or sister?

  • Pick up your Rec / Y1 child, leave the school site via the one-way system, then walk to the gate of your older child to collect.

What if my child is in Year 2 and they have an older brother or sister?

  • Pick up your Year 2 child, leave the school site, walk back in to the main gate
  • Remember, if they are in Year 4, 5 or 6, they can walk home alone.

What if my child is in Year 2 and they have a younger brother or sister?

  • Collect your Year 2 child first, then go past the Reception classes, to collect them from either Reception or Year 1

What if my children are walking to and from school? (Year 4, 5 and 6 children only)

To prevent large groups of people gathering nearby or entering the school to collect children, we recommend that children in Years 4, 5 and 6 consider walking to and from school if it is safe to do so. Further support and advice on this can be found here.
