At Sheringham Primary School we really welcome parents and carers who want to volunteer. We know that having additional adults in school can really support children's learning and so we are very grateful for the time our volunteers give to the school. We also believe that volunteering in school can be a very rewarding experience and can help to develop parents' skills and confidence.
"Volunteering at Sheringham helped me gain confidence after a career break, having my family. I was able to work in different year-groups and eventually got the confidence to apply for a role as a teaching assistant!"
"I love volunteering - it's nice to come into school each week, it gives me a focus and I enjoy listening to the children read."
"I help the school admin team, sorting resources and helping with office jobs. It's important to me to give back to the school."
If you are interested in being part of the volunteer team or you would just like some more information then please ask to speak to Ms Phillips. You can also email firstname.lastname@example.org
